Good reinforcement, actually my son’s pedal was broke in half and this plate fixed it right up! It was very easy to install and came with very clear and detailed instructions. Now he can rock out with his new bass pedal. AWESOME PRODUCT, MUST HAVE if you have a broken bass pedal! PS If your pedal isn’t broken yet, beware, it will, better fix it now before it’s too late!

Will this Wii Rock Band drum pedal work with my Wii Guitar Hero World Tour drum set? We played Rock Band with friends and I like the Rock Band drum pedal better than the GH pedal.

After a year of enjoying Rock Band, our drum pedal finally snapped in two (we were aware this might happen). We ordered this “pedal metal with hinge” and the installation process has been most frustrating. For those of you who aren’t good with drills and carpentry, be aware that this is not a simple installation process. This products is two metal plates, one plastic plate, a small bag of screws, and brief instructions. We’ve spent over 4 hours trying to figure this one out, and we stripped one of the screws so we still haven’t been able to use the pedal. We’re headed to the hardware store to find a fix to this. Once you start screwing the metal plates on, you’re basically stuck finishing this because you’ve punctured your original base pedal.
I think the idea of this product is good, I just want to warn those “novice” folks who aren’t comfortable putting things together with drills and screws. You have to be very accurate with this one and have some muscle strength!
