We bought American Idol for PS3 and it came with one mic so we bought this to use as the second mic for duets and competitions. We never could get both mics to work at the same time. We either had to unplug this mic or unplug the other one. A huge headache and a waste of money. Its probably nothing wrong with this mic we just couldn’t get it work with the other mic – probably a problem with the american idol game.

The kids used it only about 5 times and now it does not work . The girls did not abuse or miss use it . I am not sure I would buy another one .

This works with Garageband in Mac, although you have to change some settings in the Preferences. The sound quality was pretty good, although I’m sure it’s nothing compared to a real mic. It’s way better than the built in mic or a video camera. What I’m getting at is its great for 22 dollars but not something you want to record an album with.
It works with Garageband, Windows voice recorder, and PS3 Rock band. I haven’t tested with anything else.

My kids use this microphone to play Disney Sing It Bundle with Microphone and Disney Sing It: Pop Hits. The sound quality seems to be pretty good and it has lasted a couple years now and is still working like new. The cord it really long and reach clear across our entire living room.
