Sure glad I only paid $6.95 for this! Lousy feel, just a cheap peice of junk.

Don’t waste your time or your money! Sure $13 is cheap but it does not sync worth a darn, and it is so poorly made (the pedal) that the button will cave in. Total time of ownership 10 mins (Including time to return). All I can say is at least Amazon has a good return policy. Just buy the name brand (Guitar Hero or Rock Band) it may cost you 4x as much, but it will work out of the box and get you rocking right away. Only reason it gets one star, they wouldn’t let me give it a zero.

The game looks interesting however the guitars do not work that well at all. Getting them to sync up with the Playstation is a virtual nightmare. After continuing to have problems with this, changing batteries, trying to get one to work, it was much easier to just bag the whole thing and get a system that would work. Went to Walmart which is what I should have done in the beginning and bought a system there Aerosmith and all working fine now. Going to take the guitars purchased before to Gamestop and see if I can get a credit for them.

I think this item is pretty-self explanatory so I will keep it quick:
Usability: I started playing these games with RB, and while I prefer RB to GH, I never liked the RB guitar. I like this guitar because it is longer than the GH one (at least the older ones) but it has the same style as the GH keys and the clickable strum bar. I don’t care for the little frets either. It’s also pretty comfortable (as cheap toy guitars are going to be). 3/3 stars here
Setup: not too much to do, just put in the batteries, connect the strap, and plug in that wireless base thing. The one thing I found annoying is that you have to keep it in Guitar Hero mode for it to work with RB2, at least for me. I had to Google this to get it working, or RB2 would go crazy move the cursor around like made. 0.5/1 star
Style: I love Rock Band, but if you think this plastic toys look good, you’re smoking something. That being said it’s as good as any other toy guitar, so I’ll give it something. 0.5/1 star
I’ve only had this thing for a month and don’t use it much (4th guitar). As long as it doesn’t chew up batteries or break in the next couple years of light use, however, it was a great deal for $7 bucks.

I bought this wireless guitar when it was on sale for about 10 dollars, so I can’t really complain, but others who have paid full price may be more upset that the new 3.10 firmware has made this guitar useless for Rock Band 2 (not sure about guitar hero).
Since I could not test the product due to the incompatibility, I must give this product a 1 star until I am able to test it properly. If this issue is ever fixed and I am able to use it in the future I will give it a proper review.
